Honoka, a first-year college student, was feeling self-conscious and alienated from her friends who had made their college debut. However, she becomes interested in her classmate Iida-kun, a member of the Kofun Kenkyukai (a.k.a. "ancient tomb research society"), which is an "oasis for the soul," and she quickly gets close to her senior, Kanie-san.　Honoka, who is tormented by her "inadequate" self, grows little by little through the Kofun Kenkyu. This is a clumsy and sweet love story brought to life by the ancient tombs.
